Introduction
Individual education programme (IEP) is the process whereby teachers, support personnel, and parents work together as a team to meet the needs of individual students who require a range of supports. The team develops curriculum and approaches based on a student’s current needs and skills. These will be incorporated into a yearly educational programme for the respective student. The programme is termed as IEP or Individualised Education Programme.
Objective of an IEP
The IEP provides a systematic and inclusive approach for the educational development of the student. Besides teachers also able to monitor the progress of the student based on established milestones.
